Cuba Gooding, father of Oscar winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr., lends his sweet, soulful voice to this beautiful piece of music by producer/writer Kenny Beck. Formerly the lead singer of The Main Ingredient, Gooding, who has brought us such classic hits as "Everybody Plays a Fool" and "Just Don't Wanna Be Lonely", is in rare form here. He soars, way up there somewhere, while mainly doing important adlibs to Becks' lead. The song is a reflection of the times that we Americans now live in.
